On a bend in the mighty Zambezi river, in a place little known to the greater world, the Tiger fish gather in prolific numbers. Here in the Zambezi Valley, known to some as the Tiger Mile, the eternal contest between man and fish is still played out against a background, that is as ancient and as pure as the very battle itself.

Perched on a high hill in a private nature reserve, overlooking the Zambezi river and surrounded by breathtaking views, lies Tiger Mile Lodge..

The lodge, situated in the unspoilt wilderness of the Zambezi Valley, is located approximately 90km downstream from Livingstone and 30 km from where the river becomes Lake Kariba.

Here, upon arrival, you will be greeted by the owners and hosts of Tiger Mile Lodge, Mac and Alma Macdonald.
